Lizit is building powerfully simple rental software for the U.S. equipment rental industry, a system-of-record category where software runs contracts, billing, inventory, maintenance, and day-to-day operations. The market is massive and fragmented, with $80B+ in annual U.S. rental revenue and ~10,000 rental companies, yet most operators still rely on legacy platforms that are hard to use and slow to evolve. Because switching systems is operationally risky, we intentionally spent the last year building a full multi-tenant platform with real rental operators through a design partner model, prioritizing workflow depth, reliability, and service over a rushed MVP launch. We’re now entering the scaling phase, and we believe the core rental platform is only the starting point, as being the system of record unlocks expansion into higher-ARPU layers like CRM, AI-driven workflow automation, and embedded payments. We’re not running a fundraising process, but we’re open to relationships with a small number of partners who understand system-of-record transitions and can help accelerate execution while the market’s switching window is opening.
