With the goal of supporting the tech entrepreneurs who will lead the most valuable companies in Latin America over the next 20 years, we brought together the #NewtopiaCommunity in Buenos Aires and Colonia del Sacramento.

With over 20 founders from our portfolio and the presence of investors such as Riverwood Capital, IDC Ventures, H20 Capital Innovation, NuMundo Ventures, Ventures Unknown, Somi Capital, OneSixOne Ventures, PS27 Ventures, GoHub Ventures, Boost Capital, TheVentureCity and Brainstorm Ventures, #CommunityWeek Miami ’23 was a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between entrepreneurs and investors from Latam and the US.

November 2nd 2022, one of our biggest dreams came true: to gather our Community and share a full day full of knowledge, experiences and emotions. 7 panels, Sports Activities, Cocktails, steaks and lots of networking and valuable conversations.

The entrepreneurial community of Latin America got together at the “Academy Week MIAMI”, the mega five day on-site event held by Newtopia VC. A full learning and enjoyment offering for the batch 3 entrepreneurs. 15 fireside chats, 4 workshops, 2 community events. 3 unicorns, 1 NBA Hall of Famer. Entertainment and Meditation.

Uruguay hosted the Academy Week from the 7th until the 11th of March. In this event, promoted by the investment fund Newtopia VC, founders from 13 of the most promising startups in Latin America, partners of the fund, unicorns and figures from the ecosystem met in person to live a week with an intense agenda.

For 3 days our community lived an absolute vibe. 17 of startups we invested in, as well as Newtopia's partners and advisors met on this trip and visited one the most beautiful places in Latin America: La Quebrada de Humahuaca, in the Argentinian Northwest. From there we broadcasted to the world our 1st Demoday and made an epic 1st batch closing.

On the afternoon of Monday, March 27th, 2023, Newtopia gathered over 150 attendees in the Open Space of the BBVA Building in CDMX, including VCs and other investors from Mexico, the US, and Latin America, alongside top-tier entrepreneurs and members of our community.
More than 80 entrepreneurs gathered at the AWS offices in Buenos Aires to listen, learn, and ask questions to a distinguished panel consisting of key figures from some of the most active VCs in Latin America.
